Wilson confirmed via his Twitter post that his company, TraceMe, has been acquired.TraceMe is an app that was founded in 2017 to bring athletes and celebrities closer to their fans. The launch of the app took place in Seattle startup studio, Pioneer Square Labs. Last year November, the service was changed to a platform that focuses on sports teams, broadcasters, and venues in a bid to occupy sports fans around sporting events. The new app which was named Tally also has a free-to-play option, where users who make correct game predictions win real cash prizes.Report has it that Nike is interested in the initial TraceMe. Hence, it is yet to be known how Nike intends to use TraceMe technology or what will happen to Tally.In 2017, the worth of the tech startup was estimated at $60 million. The other investors of the company include YouTube founder Chad Hurley, Bezos Expeditions (Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s fund), Madrona Venture Group, and Alibaba co-founder Joe Tsai.
