The First Independence Bank is a beneficiary of the Bureau of Fiscal Service Mentor-Protege program, which is proudly sponsored by the US Department of Treasury.During the period of mentorship, First Independence Bank will receive guidance and a look-in on its plan to render financial service to the Treasury.The mentor-protégé program was launched to improve and expand the capacity of commercial and small banks through the establishment of relationships between them. The Treasury believes this program will broaden the network within the financial service industry and ensures it has more financial institutions in its business radar.
