The Millionaire Mastermind Academy is one of the top non-profit organizations in the country; dedicated to supporting and growing women-owned businesses and education. The Academy will host its first annual Millionaire Mastermind Entrepreneur Summit and Award on December 16 in Atlanta. Summit offers companies, organizations, and government parastatals the opportunity to connect with more than 500 business owners and prospective black entrepreneurs. It also aims to give those black entrepreneurs the avenue to network and learn from the top business persons in different industries. In the course of the event, a startup fund of $10,000 will be won by a prospective black entrepreneur who submits the most detailed business pitch in the first edition of the Pitch Competition organized by Millionaire Mastermind.
The summit will feature the top players of business, government, entertainment and philanthropic non-conformists, including Nancy Flake Johnson, CEO of the Atlanta Urban League; Dr. Julianne Malveaux, a leading economist, teacher and black entrepreneur; Earnest Pugh, black entrepreneur and national recording artist; Nicole Durio, Madison Brothers, Consulting Group; Catherine B. Horgan, CEO Brand Aspirations; comedian and talk show host Kiana Dancie and many others.
The event will take place at Atlanta Hyatt Regency, 265 Peachtree NE. The program will kick off with registration at 8 a.m. Also, parts of the awards luncheon will include workshops and seminars in small-groups, throughout the day, which will tackle informative topics such as access to capital/Financial Education, community reinvestment: public/private partnerships and contracting opportunities with government bodies and more.
Another vital aspect of the summit is the HBCU Start-up Lab, which will be moderated by Dr. Malveaux, the goal of this session is to educate, attract, guide and develop students who show talent and desire to become successful black entrepreneurs but lack the knowledge on how to start.
Already the Mastermind Millionaire Academy has been able to connect with 4,600 women and has helped 25 of them start their now-thriving business. The Academy sees this feat as transformative.
