Former Marine Creates The Vet View Talk Show to Highlight the Stories of America’s Heroes

Published on

Former Marine Creates The Vet View Talk Show to Highlight the Stories of America’s Heroes San Diego, CA, April 27, 2013 –(PR.com)– Jovane Henry, a former Marine, San Diegan and the marketing conference coordinator for U.S. Veterans Magazine, one of the fastest growing veteran-focused publications in the country, has created The Vet View, a new talk show focused exclusively on sharing the stories and following the journeys of America’s veterans.

Henry, who comes from a long line of military service, was led to start the show after realizing that there was a lot of negative and disheartening press surrounding veterans and deciding to create a platform to focus on the successes of America’s heroes.

The mission of The Vet View is to showcase the accomplishments and follow the journeys of America’s veterans, from the transitioning service member to the entrepreneur to the Fortune 500 CEO. The show provides informational and entertaining interviews, as well as education on making a successful transition and life after the military, via their fast growing Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/TheVetView).

The show is completely veteran produced, with Jovane’s husband Deshone Henry, a Navy corpsman, creating the accompanying music and business partner Michael Cook, also a former Marine, editing the footage.

Guests thus far have included director/screenwriter Michael Cook of ID3 Productions, Alphi Quitevis and David Burnell, creators of the lifestyle brand Veteran Empire and EMichele Paul, a retired Marine and the founder of Rhapsody Open Mic here in San Diego.

The Vet View also features complimentary segments to engage both the civilian and veteran audience. The newest segment, VA BeneTip, debunks myths and provides tips for navigating the VA System from subject matter expert Roland Stewart, an Army veteran and VA benefits briefer based in Houston, TX. Another segment, the Org. Files, will highlight various veteran-focused organizations throughout the nation and is slated to premiere in May.
The Vet View is working fervently to raise awareness and support for the show. If you’d like more information about The Vet View, or to schedule an interview with Jovane Henry, please contact her at 951-525-8615 or at [email protected].
