Running For Others - Wounded Warriors and Others Thousand Oaks, CA, September 26, 2013 –(PR.com)– Running for Others is what blogger Jim Van Landingham likes to do to give back. Jim realizes that he is fortunate to be able to run while so many others can not. “It’s really simple. My wife and I took up serious running several years ago and we’ve always given to those in need. We are both very patriotic and have family members who have served in our military. I’ve unofficially adopted the Wounded Warrior Project,” said Van Landingham.

Van Landingham created the “Running for Others” blog to share his passion for running, some of his silly training and race experiences and help raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project to benefit the men and woman of our military who watch over us and have become injured in the line of duty.

53 year old Van Landingham has completed almost a dozen half-marathons and one full marathon. He lives in Thousand Oaks, CA and is training for the Marine Corp Marathon held in Washington D.C. October 27th, 2013. You can read his blog at www.runningforothers.com
