Smalltell Announces Launch of Private Beta Site

Published on

Los Angeles, CA, August 27, 2013 –(PR.com)– Smalltell announces the release of its unique and powerful social commerce solution aimed at small businesses, entrepreneurs and creative minds of all types. The target demographic is largely 18-34 M F and is expected to expand to 16-45 M F in the coming months.

The Beta site provides functionality for users to creatively mix content with commerce in order to launch promotions, which serve as micro marketing campaigns and immersive ads, dubbed “Smalltells.” Individual sellers or companies alike can create Smalltells to offer their products and services to the world by sharing them across the web, while incentivizing others to share them as well. Smalltell has created a unique commissioning tool that facilitates opportunities for people who wish to help others find new customers and earn money for their efforts.

Another unique feature of Smalltell is its powerful Smalltell Editor, where content from around the web, or the user’s computer, is added to a promotion, along with a “Buy” button, and then launched as a type of micro-ad that targets members of the Smalltell community, as well as members of most popular social networks and e-mail services.

“Our technology was created to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit on a local level in a manner that promotes job creation. We, also, want to push the online and mobile shopping experience to a new place, where marketing feels less like you’re being advertised to,” explains Co-founder, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer, Eric Prouty.

“There’s an entire generation of young entrepreneurs around the world who are working to find new ways to generate revenue for their efforts, and it’s our goal to help these motivated, creative minds monetize their products and services, while simultaneously helping to create new opportunities for people to generate income, throughout the U.S. and abroad.”

Smalltell is currently developing its iOS mobile application and plans to launch it during Q1 of 2014. The company has plans to expand beyond the U.S. borders next year by leveraging its vast wireless carrier relationships throughout North and South America.
