St. Paul, MN, July 03, 2013 –(PR.com)– Aviontรฉ was recently recognized as a leading workplace in two top 100 awards lists. For the second year in a row, the staffing software provider was listed as a Top Workplace in the Star Tribuneโs annual award list and this year, Aviontรฉ was also listed in the Minnesota Business Magazineโs Best Companies award list.
CEO of Aviontรฉ John Long said he was very excited to hear that Aviontรฉ had made the lists.
โI think I feel even more proud to have made the Top Workplaces and Best Companies to Work For lists than I did when I heard weโd made the Inc. 500|5000 Fastest Growing U.S. Companies list for the first time,โ Long said. โMany companies seem to forget that the most important aspect of any company is the companyโs employees. I think this is an indication of retention โฆ If all of the horses are running in the same direction, thereโs a lot we can accomplish.โ
Recipients for both awards were chosen based on the results of employee surveys, which contained questions that focused on areas such as work environment, employee benefits and overall employee satisfaction. According to creators of the Star Tribuneโs WorkplaceDynamics survey, there are three things that drive the long term health of a company: a clear direction for the companyโs future, a culture of high performance and a strong connection between employees and the company.
For both awards, Aviontรฉ Staffing Software was recognized for its โwork hard, play hardโ environment, its relationship-focused mindset and its philanthropic efforts.
Long states, โwhile our organization has some level of vertical structure, it feels and operates very flat. Starting from their first day on the job, employees are encouraged to voice their opinions and ideas with anyone in the company. Development, support and customer care teams are organized in collaborative pods and the managers are right in the day-to-day mix with their teams. The entire company is well-aligned in culture and focused on providing our customers with superior customer service.โ
Aviontรฉโs focus on its employees, customers and partners is clearly visible. Aviontรฉโs employees are encouraged to work hard to achieve individual, department and company goals and are rewarded for achieving those goals in various ways. As a team-focused company, Aviontรฉ provides employees a long list of events throughout the year. Outings such as St. Paul Saints and Timberwolves, regular happy hours, company parties and catered lunches help to promote teamwork and recognize hard work.
This team-focused mentality transcends the boundaries of the companyโs corporate office. To encourage increased involvement of employees within their communities, the founders of Aviontรฉ launched the Aviontรฉ Hope Foundation (AHF) in January of 2012, which Long describes as the non-profit arm of Aviontรฉ. Through AHF, Aviontรฉ employees are granted three days of PTO each year to volunteer at a place of their choice. The company donates roughly two percent of its profits to nonprofits, organizations and individuals through the Foundation.
While Long said he recognizes the many strengths of the company, heโs continuing to strive for greatness, in both the culture of the organization and also by increasing innovation through its products and services, which the staffing software company now provides to over 175 clients across the U.S. and Canada.
