FlipFlop® Dogs Begins Franchising Marco Island, FL, May 07, 2013 –(PR.com)– FlipFlop® Dogs, an alternative to kenneling, is now offering franchise opportunities for well-qualified individuals or multi-unit candidates. FlipFlop Dogs provides unparalleled peace of mind for dog owners by transporting their customers’ dogs to stay in the homes of carefully selected Companion™ families who maintain home-life routines for exercise and feeding.

The company is looking to expand across the United States with a projected franchise growth of six new locations in 2013. FlipFlop Dogs has two locations established. The first is in northeast Ohio near Cleveland, which was founded in August 2011. The second location is north of Atlanta in Buford, Georgia, which opened in September 2011.

“Because of our passion for animals we looked for another opportunity to work in the pet industry. My dream is for FlipFlop Dogs to be a top pet franchise here in the United States,” said Taffy Miltz, president of FlipFlop Dogs.

Miltz and her executive team have nearly 70 years of combined experience having worked for the Invisible Fence® Brand, electronic pet containment, on the dealer and distributor level of the business.

According to the American Pet Products Association, the pet industry continues to grow. In 2013, revenues are expected to reach $55.53B.

While the pet industry is growing, so are mobile-based businesses, specifically mobile pet franchises. In the Entrepreneur article, “What’s Hot (or Not) for Franchises in 2012,” the magazine reports that mobile franchises are taking off, allowing franchisees to buy into a system and grow, without the cost of maintaining a traditional storefront.
