National Marketing Firm Catering to Entrepreneurs Opens Office to Serve Denver

Published on

Denver, CO, May 02, 2013 –(PR.com)– Start-ups and growth-oriented companies in Denver now have a new way to market their brand. Rich Caserta, Partner and Chief Creative Officer of The Marketing Department Worldwide (TMD), announced today that TMD has opened an office to serve small businesses in Denver. Boulder resident Maria Trysla has been named Managing Partner of TMD Denver.

“Denver is a perfect fit for The Marketing Department,” said Trysla. “There are some great ad agencies here but they are large or regionally-focused, and not set-up to work with early-stage and growth-oriented companies. This has created a need among small businesses that need marketing and brand development. We specifically cater to entrepreneurs. That is our sweet spot.”

Trysla, who also services clients in the Boulder market, has 20 years of brand and marketing experience with major brands including Level 3 Communications, Sprint and Wonder Bread.

The Marketing Department Worldwide (www.TMDworldwide.com) is the nation’s first marketing consulting agency with a network of local offices that specialize in affordable marketing and advertising solutions for small businesses. Located in either a retail storefront or an office building, each TMD site invites people to meet with a Marketing Consultant for a free initial marketing consultation. All TMD offices have access to a centralized creative department, which helps keep costs low for customers while improving turnaround time on jobs.

TMD offers a methodical approach to marketing and brand development that is efficient for the start-up and growth-oriented company,” said Trysla. “Typically this area of focus has been neglected by global and regional agencies.”

“Most early-stage companies cannot afford to hire a chief marketing officer, staff a marketing department or hire a big ad agency,” said Caserta. “The Marketing Department is a local office structured to serve as a company’s marketing department. Our name is exactly the role we play with customers.”

Caserta added that TMD executives often serve as an outsourced VP or director of marketing working on-site at a client one or two days a week. The TMD office then becomes the client’s marketing department providing services such as brand development, website design, copywriting, collateral production as well as inbound and outbound marketing initiatives to support an integrated marketing strategy.

“We offer three levels of involvement ranging from director of marketing to chief marketing officer, depending upon scope of work and needs of the client,” said Caserta. “Imagine having an experienced marketing professional who will listen to you and develop a strategy and solutions tailored to your needs and budget constraints. And then be available to work on-site as the outsourced marketing director. For the start-up company or the company experiencing explosive growth, this is a fantastic opportunity.”

In addition, for entrepreneurs and owners of early-stage companies looking to raise capital, TMD creates compelling imagery, videos and one-page summary sheets highlighting the company and its product on crowd-funding sites such as Kick Starter and AngelList.

“We love working with innovative thinkers,” said Caserta. “They have great ideas, and we are able to help them brand the concept and go to crowd-funding sites to raise capital. It’s often the first step in brand marketing for many entrepreneurs.”

About The Marketing Department Worldwide
Philadelphia-based advertising and marketing executives John Cooley and Rich Caserta developed the concept for The Marketing Department (TMD) in 2008. They recognized that small businesses with modest budgets couldn’t afford to staff a marketing department or hire an ad agency. Similar to the HR Block concept, they came up with the idea of a storefront or office setting from which marketing specialists can assist small business owners. Since 2008, TMD has opened locations in Colorado (Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins), Connecticut (Shelton), Pennsylvania (Doylestown, Malvern, Reading, West Chester) and Texas (Sugarland). TMD will soon open locations in Kansas City, Minneapolis and Philadelphia. For more information, visit www.TMDWorldwide.com. For information on franchise opportunities, please contact John Cooley, founder and CEO, at [email protected].
