St. Louis Business Names Contest Winner

Published on

St. Louis, MO, April 25, 2013 –(PR.com)– goBRANDgo!, a full-service marketing firm for $1M to $15M entrepreneurs, recently picked the inaugural winner for its go!-celerator program.

The company selected HCP United, an integrated E-Dispensary platform designed for member-based purchasing groups that allows healthcare providers to deliver more affordable care.

Founder Quinn Worden, 23, of Tyngsboro, MA along with partners Nathan Johnson, 21, of West Des Moines, IA and Nick Turner, 23, of St. Louis, MO will relocate their company from Boston to St. Louis. HCP United has shown early success with more than $100,000 in revenue over the past year and, with the help of the go!-celerator program, hope to achieve $250,000 in sales this year.

Wordon and Turner earned their BBA degrees in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the University of Miami (FL) in May, 2012; Johnson is a biology major at St. Louis University with an expected graduation date of 2014.

The contest: goBRANDgo! offered one entrepreneur born in 1983 or later a free year of office and housing space, networking opportunities and mentoring which amounts to approximately $50,000 in agency resources. The idea: to provide a young entrepreneur all of the necessary tools to ensure that person focuses solely on growing a start-up business with a solid foundation. All finalists made a presentation in front of goBRANDgo! partners Derek Weber and Brandon Dempsey and their agency.

Weber said HCP United stood out from the rest of the candidates and was “a perfect fit for the go!-celerator program. We are excited to bring their entire team together in one city and under one roof for the first time ever,” said Weber. He added that, with the progress the company has achieved so far, “we are confident the program will provide a launching pad for their future success.”

The idea for go!-celerator came when Derek Weber and Brandon Dempsey began reflecting on their own start-up experience. Weber founded goBRANDgo! in 2003, and Dempsey joined as a partner in 2010. They both launched entrepreneurial ventures in their early twenties, so they understand the struggles of starting out on their own. For details, call (314) 754-8712.
