Montreal, Canada, February 28, 2013 –(PR.com)– I.P.A. is proud to announce the public opening of the website for its new division, The āGā Group, located at www.ggroupbuying.com. The Buying Group “G” has been created to bring together small and medium-sized businesses to help them save on their purchasing costs by obtaining prices comparable to those given to large companies from corporate suppliers.
Since the advent of the internet, the ways of selling products/services between companies have experienced significant changes that require business leaders to quickly adapt and redesign their ways of selling/purchasing in order to stay on top of their respective fields. Today, the “G” Group revolutionizes this yet again by creating a buying group of SMEs. The purpose of this group is to restore purchasing power to its members who are facing large companies which gradually took over their markets.
For a supplier, it is normal to offer better rates and better terms to customers who buy in large quantities (a phenomenon that helped to marginalize SMEs from large firms). This group allows those who have smaller needs to also become prominent clients. By associating with other members like them, they form a purchasing power as important as the ones big businesses have.
This system has been around for a few years in countries such as France, where it knows a great success. Indeed, in countries using group purchasing for small and medium businesses, economy gains for the members over expenses range from 10 to 60% depending on the product/service. And since purchases overheads are generally between 10 and 15% of sales, savings can quickly add-up. These savings can be estimated at around $2,500 for a company from 3 to 5 employees, $30,000 for a company of around 70 employees and up to $90,000 for a company of 300 employees.
The benefits for members of the group are obvious. They get a greater purchasing power which translates into money saving, they acquire established suppliers (no more need for research which is time consuming) and they take part into a large network. But for supplier who partners with “G”, the advantages are also very important. To name a few, there is the immediate access to a large customer base, the reducing of development costs in their search for new customers and a better information return regarding customer needs.
By opening its website to the public, the company is now undertaking its development phase where it will recruit its preferred suppliers and will allow companies who wish to become members of the group in order to take advantage of its purchasing power. Note that new members joining will be free of membership fees until the official launch of the company in September 2013.
The Buying Group “G” is a division of IPA (International Professional Associates), a Canadian company based in Montreal since 2008 specializing in direct sales of products manufactured at low cost.
